We are hiring CAD Engineer is responsible for developing detailed technical drawings and 3D models using advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project teams, this role ensures that design concepts are accurately transformed into production-ready plans. CAD Engineer’s work is pivotal in the design, manufacturing, and construction processes, requiring precision, adherence to industry standards, and strong problem-solving abilities. By managing complex schematics and design updates, CAD Engineer contributes to the successful execution of engineering projects across multiple disciplines.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Revit, to meet project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.
Generate technical drawings and schematics for manufacturing, construction, and product development.
Review and verify designs for accuracy, identifying and correcting errors while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Modify and update existing designs based on client feedback or evolving project requirements.
Participate in design reviews, offering recommendations to improve efficiency, functionality, and overall design quality.
Organize and maintain design files, ensuring accessibility and proper version control for future reference.
Document design changes, maintain version histories, and track project progress for effective collaboration.
Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during fabrication or assembly.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in CAD design.
3–5 years of proven experience as a CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, or similar role within design and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Revit, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
Solid understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and applicable standards (e.g., ASME, ISO).
Familiarity with materials, fabrication methods, and construction techniques to ensure practical and efficient designs.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and create complex technical drawings.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects, maintain documentation, and ensure accessibility of design files.
