Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Welding Execution: Ensure appropriate penetration and bead appearance by performing superior MIG welding on a range of materials and thicknesses.
Setup & Calibration: Depending on the material, configure welding machines by choosing the appropriate wire tension, voltage, amperage, and gas flow.
Pre-Welding Preparation: To guarantee a superior fusion zone, clean, grind, and bevel metal surfaces to get rid of rust, scale, or paint.
Blue-Print Interpretation: To identify the locations, types, and sizes of welds, read and decipher fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
Fixture & Fit-up: Prior to the final welding pass, precisely align components using clamps, jigs, and tack welds.
Post-Weld Inspection: Examine welds visually to find and fix flaws such porosity, undercut, spatters, or cracks.
Equipment Maintenance: Replace contact tips, nozzles, and liners on welding torches as part of routine maintenance.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
