Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: To cut waste, shorten cycle times, and boost throughput, examine and improve production workflows using Lean production and Six Sigma techniques.
Production Planning & Execution: Keep an eye on daily activities to make sure production schedules are fulfilled and resources are used effectively.
Capacity & Resource Management: To increase the effectiveness of assembly lines and machine centers, perform time-motion studies and line balancing operations.
Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Work with maintenance teams to put long-term corrective measures in place while looking at equipment malfunctions, process irregularities, or production delays.
New Product Introduction: To ensure a seamless transition from prototype to full-scale mass production, collaborate with the R&D and design teams.
Quality Assurance Alignment: Reduce scrap and rework rates by ensuring that all shop floor operations follow standard operating procedures and quality standards.
Required Skills:
Manufacturing Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Analytical Problem-Solving: Mastery of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Technical drawing literacy is the capacity to decipher industrial schematics, engineering blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency with MS Excel, ERP/MES systems (such as SAP or Oracle), and statistical process control (SPC) software.
Manpower Leadership: Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to inspire, educate, and oversee cross-functional shop floor operators and technicians.
Strong situational judgment to handle unforeseen material shortages, technical bottlenecks, or scheduling issues is a sign of resourcefulness.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
