Job Description
Salary Range : based on skills, and interview performance
Experience Requirement : 0 to 2 yrs
Qualification: Any Basic Degree
Location : Chennai
Working Hours : General Shift | Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Charge Entry: Enter patient charges into the billing system promptly and accurately.
Data Verification: Check that all charge information, such as patient demographics, procedures, and diagnoses, is correct and comprehensive.
Coding: Make sure that ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes are applied correctly and appropriately.
Problem Solving: Find and fix inconsistencies and mistakes in charge entry.
Compliance: Comply with applicable compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations.
Reporting: As required, create and examine charge entry reports.
Cooperation: To guarantee accurate and prompt claim filing, cooperate with other departments, including billing and medical records.
Skills:
Medical Terminology: Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Coding Proficiency: Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
Data Entry: Accuracy and speed in data entry.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
